Varadkar leaves vaccine-injured Unacknowledged
Two milestones, one day.
It’s a year to the day since Siobhan told the story of her vaccine injury on this Substack. Her story was the first of a five part series. These stories tracked the motivations and personal situations of the individuals involved and documented their various injuries.
It is significant that An Taoiseach, the politician that lead Ireland through the covid era - Leo Varadkar - announced his resignation today without ever acknowledging those left damaged by his government’s policies.
Siobhan was a ‘frontline worker’ in a hospital, among the first to receive the Astra Zeneca vaccine, that has left her life utterly changed. The authorities responsible for promoting this vaccine have never contacted Siobhan, nor acknowledged her injuries in any way.
That’s some legacy for Varadkar - a medically trained doctor - to leave behind
