This morning, we have RTE News reporting that despite the much hyped and incessant Covid Death Count in 2020, there were no excess deaths.
This comes courtesy of RTE News’ Fergal Bowers.
The line is clearly stated in the third paragraph of Bowers’ latest report:
"The analysis reveals broadly no excess mortality in 2020. However, 2021 witnessed an increase in excess mortality, signalling a more significant impact on mortality patterns during the pandemic's second year.”
In plain English, excess mortality statistics did not begin to rise until 2021. What else happened that could possibly affect mortality rates in 2021?
For readers that have joined this Substack recently, here’s a quick update on my background. I worked in the Coroner’s Court in Dublin from 2015 - 2020. I was freelance and provided court copy to all national outlets including RTE. From this experience at inquests, I knew that post-mortems would reveal how ‘covid’ should be treated. Post-mortems were banned early on. Treatments were maligned early on. The death count figures could not possibly have been accurate. Then Taoiseach Leo Varadkar informed the Dail that ‘covid deaths’ were not actual deaths due to covid but a system of reporting implemented in order to elevate the figures. I searched for a Coroner that would tell the truth. In April 2021 Mayo Coroner Pat O’Connor spoke up. His comments were carried in a report published by the Sunday Times and Irish Independent on April 18 2021.
Floundering in the face of the published truth, three days later RTE Prime Time responded with a wildly inaccurate broadcast by Mark Coughlan:
“Analysis of RIP.ie data by researchers at Maynooth University and the University of Limerick indicates that around 3,200 more people died in the Republic of Ireland between 1 March 2020 and 28 February 2021 than would have died in a typical 12-month period,” Mr Coughlan said.
Note his somewhat unsettled demeanor onscreen.
In his written article, note the subtle manipulation of the reader:
“Staff at Finnegan's Lakelands Crematorium were working from 6am until midnight. It is usually a 9-to-5 workplace.
They didn’t know it back then, but some of the communities they serve in Cavan and Monaghan were being hit hardest by the first wave of the Covid-19 pandemic.
In a typical April, around 60 people are cremated at Lakelands. In April 2020, staff faced the brutal reality of Covid-19 while helping 120 families say goodbye to their loved ones.
"We’ve never even done the colour of that before, you know?" owner Declan Finnegan told Prime Time.
Where is Declan Finnegan now, since RTE have revised their agenda - as of this morning?
This reporter was well aware the Coroner’s comments had sent RTE into a panic, resulting in the Prime Time report. I sought to delve further by analysing the RTE Prime Time figures in a follow up story for the Sunday Independent.
The Sindo editor accepted the pitch and I went to work to take apart the Prime Time report, which I considered not just erroneous, but dangerous.
The result is the following report, (published below) submitted to the editor, who made some suggestions, such as the removal of mention of the World Economic Forum and then gave it the nod for publication.
Later the same day, I was contacted again by the editor, to notify me the article would in fact, not be published.
That same week, on April 24 2021, RTE News came to my village, Kilshanny, Co Clare and produced a report featuring one of our treasured elders, retired farmer Joe Keneally, who had not yet received a covid vaccine.
“The HSE has said that the National Ambulance Service will increase capacity in the next few weeks in order to accelerate the delivery of vaccines to those who are housebound,” the report stated.
Eight months later, Joe Kenneally was dead.
I’ve written extensively on the topic of excess deaths since the roll out of the covid vaccine and Coroner Patrick O’Connor has raised the issue on multiple occasions - all documented in earlier posts on this Substack. At one point, I could see from Substack statistics that my work had landed on the Taoiseach’s desk. I believe they were watching me, because they knew.
Last month, here in the parish of Lisdoonvarna, our parish priest presided over a record five funerals in one week. Meanwhile, RTE continues to advertise the ‘Spring Booster Campaign’ for covid vaccines.
I am curious, will RTE, and reporters Fergal Bowers and Mark Coughlan, correct the record now and admit the public were deliberately deceived? I have asked them and I am happy to offer them a right of reply to all points raised in this article.
The article that never appeared in the Sindo, remained unpublished, until I joined Substack and began self-publishing, effectively continuing my career in journalism, albeit now, unpaid. Some of us still consider truthful journalism a vocation and a privilege. Thank you dear readers, for sticking with me.
Warm thanks to those that continue to support my work, it is much appreciated.
*Update* - this report appears on the front page of the Telegraph (UK) today
Meanwhile, GP Billy Ralph got in touch to say he sent the following note to RTE’s complaints department and to The Press Ombudsman this lunchtime.
Dear Editor,
This piece today by Fergal Bowers is another example of what your
adherence to the Trusted News Initiative (TNI) should strive to avoid.Whether
it is 'misinformation','disinformation' or 'malinformation' is difficult for
me to say. However it is certainly another in a long line of reportage that
serves those in power and neglects the responsibilities of the fourth estate.
This current piece is disingenuous and whilst not overtly untruthful it merely
hovers close to the truth giving what appears to be a factual
account.Relatively few excess deaths in 2020 was not because of the measures
taken by public health/government,there is no evidence that social
distancing, masks or lockdowns did anything other than wreak havoc in the lives
of the elderly, children and the poor, worldwide.
We had a novel corona virus in circulation in 2020 but by 2021 a large
percentage of the population had been exposed thus lowering the risk of death
from that virus. In 2021 there were according to several sources ie
Eurostat,CSO,RIP.ie and the Society of Actuaries excess deaths. In 2021 a novel
pharmaceutical agent was given to almost the entire population.Excess deaths
have continued every year since.Numerous medical experts have called for a ban
on these products eg Prof Angus Dalgleish,St George's Hosp,London,Prof. Peter
McCullough,Dr Aseem Malhotra,cardiologist NHS,UK etc.
Elephants are not a common sight in Ireland at least not up until the past few
years but we have several trampling their way through Irish society and
everyone especially the political and media classes appear to be blithely
oblivious to their prescence or is it a more sinister case of wilful
blindness?
One main stream media outlet The Telegraph (Sarah Knapton)in the UK today
reported on the possible link between covid vaccines and excess deaths citing
this article :https://bmjpublichealth.bmj.com/content/2/1/e000282
When will RTE return to investigative journalism and cease being the Irish
equivalent of Pravda?
This article in my opinion breaches the 1st principle-truth and accuracy
'....distorted report or picture has been published...'
Dr William Ralph
It is great to see at least one Irish journalist doing her job of analysing the data and presenting it to the world to see. This will become an example of truth and honesty in a corrupt world of media when the history of these dystopian times are written. Keep up the good work you can hold your head up high.
Thanks Louise,
Almost three years on, the month of May saw unprecedented levels of mortality among the elderly. That's what I have observed locally at least. Confirmed by Patrick Walsh in his latest SubStack.
Still the gutless and the wilfully blind refuse to acknowledge it.
