Light in the Darkness: Dr Billy Ralph's interview on Tipp FM
GP discusses "the darker aspects" of what went on during covid
Wexford GP Dr Billy Ralph was a guest on Tipp Fm this morning following Patrick E Walsh's revelatory interview on the same radio channel last week.
Dr Ralph's interview moved me to tears, because I know how much time and tireless effort he has spent fighting behind the scenes for his profession, how much passion he holds for the welfare of his patients and how much all of this has cost him personally.
I imagine I'm not the only one crying. In my mind I picture people all over Tipperary - and further afield - listening intently and becoming emotional, because there is something so powerful in personal testimony. There are so many people that have suffered so horrendously, and so alone, because of the wicked tyranny imposed upon all of us by our so called 'authorities' and effected in chief by my own profession, the media.
The knowledge of that suffering, and the inability to communicate it, other than to those of us that already know, has brought much shame and guilt. I know that Dr Ralph felt these emotions too, and felt them deeply and today I am thanking God for his resilience and courage and strength.
Thank you to all of you in fact, that have carried this burden, in so many different ways, who fought and raged and fell and got back up again and continued along a path that seemed so hopeless, for so long, in the knowledge that all around us, people are suffering so acutely and in the end there was very little we could do, other than watch it happen.
This morning’s interview begins aptly with a reference to darkness, which at times for all of us has been overwhelming. Thank you to presenter Fran Curry and Tipp Fm for this broadcast.
Presenter: “You spoke in your correspondence about the darker aspects of what went on during covid. Would you explain some of that to me Billy?”
Dr Billy Ralph: "I'm glad you are actually taking the time to address this issue, because very few people want to hear about it and very few media outlets want to even discuss it.
"Some of the darker aspects. Okay. From the outset, GP's closed their doors to patients. We are the medical profession, and we closed our doors. And then we received a document from the Irish College of General Practitioners telling us that we don't need to see our patients, we don't need to examine our patients, because basically there were no treatments for this condition. And we could just advise that depending on the level of breathlessness, they could then call an ambulance and turn up at the hospital.
"Now that to me is not why I became a doctor. So that I could deal with everything on the phone and I could keep my hands nice and clean. And I could turn around to elderly patients that I have known for a number of years, who are frightened by the amount of nonsense coming out of RTE about the risks to the population - and it was death, death, death.
"And when they rang me, looking for some solace or to be seen by their doctor, I'd be telling them sorry I can't see you. That alone was one of the darkest moments that I have had as a doctor in thirty years."

Governments will be glad to see this issue recede further and further into the past. This is the tactic used to deal with questions like Bloody Sunday and ritual paedophilia.
By the time 'justice' is done everyone is either dead or gaga.
A powerful impassioned testimony from a clearly dedicated doctor who bravely stood up for the truth when the majority of his profession disgraced themselves. Hats off by Tipp FM for finally breaking the omerta that our radio stations have strictly adhered while the bodies of the vaccinated have continued to pile up.
