CMO, NIAC, HPRA to attend boy (14) inquest
Joseph McGinty of Achill Island died 3 weeks post Pfizer vaccine
(Dr. Breda Smyth CMO, Dr. Karina Butler NIAC, Anne Tobin, HPRA)
The medicines regulator, the Chief Medical Officer and vaccine advisory group NIAC will face questions at the inquest into the death of a 14 year old boy.
Joseph McGinty died on September 13 2021, three weeks after receiving the Pfizer jab at a vaccination centre. Coroner Patrick O’Connor described the death as an issue of ‘significant public concern’ at the opening of the inquest last November.
The Coroner has requested Anne Tobin, Pharmacovigilance Manager, Health Products Regulatory Authority (HPRA) and National Immunisation Advisory Clinic (NIAC) Chairperson Karina Butler to attend the McGinty inquest.
In addition, Mr O’Connor has asked Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Dr. Breda Smyth to attend. Dr Smyth replaced former CMO Dr Tony Holohan last June.
The Coroner said information he requested from Pfizer at a previous preliminary hearing has been supplied to him and the company had been “fully cooperative.”
At the previous hearing the Coroner asked for a senior medical clinician to be appointed to prepare a statement on Pfizer’s clinical trials. Mr O’Connor asked for the statement to form a general overview on clinical trials but also to deal with specifics relating to Joseph McGinty.
Dr. Gillian Ellsbury, Consultant Medical Scientist with Pfizer, will give evidence on behalf of the vaccine manufacturer at the inquest.
Representing Pfizer Ireland, Mr Roddy Bourke of McCann Fitzgerald in Dublin confirmed that to the Coroner that Dr Ellsbury will give evidence.
A date has been set for the full inquest, scheduled for July 18 2023.
Statements from the boy’s mother Patricia McGinty and from Mayo University Hospital staff will form part of the inquest hearing.
Evidence from staff working at the vaccination centre where the boy was inoculated will form part of the inquest, together with a statement from the boy’s GP.
A statement and report from Consultant Pathologist at Mayo University Hospital (MUH), Dr Fadel Bennani, who conducted the autopsy, is also to be submitted to the Coroner for the hearing.
Dr Bennani sought a second opinion from Dr Michael McDermott, Consultant Paediatric Histopathologist at Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin.
Joseph McGinty from The Valley, Achill Island, Co Mayo, a second year student, suffered either a reaction or ‘significant medical change’ following the administration of the Pfizer vaccine.
He was hospitalised on September 1 and stayed overnight at MUH before he was discharged the following day. He attended hospital again on September 8 for review.
This week’s hearing was the third preliminary hearing into the boy’s death following the opening of the inquest last November. A fourth and final preliminary hearing takes place next month, before the full inquest gets underway on July 18 at Swinford Courthouse.

Thanks Louise. Milestone case we need to hear about.
We have been lingering at the tipping point for some time, Louise. However, the Irish medical-media cabal are still holding out when other more sentient, less corrupt public health authorities have long since discouraged or banned outright these jabs for children if not the population as a whole.
I specifically recall Dr. Karina Butler being questioned by a journalist about the rationale behind jabbing children with these experimental gene-based shots. Her response (paraphrased): "Oh, I wouldn't like a child to come down with a really bad case of Covid".
Dr. Butler and her associates may consider themselves to be 'nice, caring' people and I'm sure they have loved ones and friends who dote on them. But their remit is public health, not blindly doing the bidding of Big Pharma and the corrupt WHO already evidenced by the Swine Flu Scamdemic of 2009.
This dereliction of professional duty by our public health officials and their media lackeys is even worse than criminal negligence. Like so much of the media-friendly fluffy-speak surrounding this atrocity, Dr. Butler's response at the time was a deliberate and utterly emotive appeal to parents with no basis in cost/benefit in spite of a wealth of data on the risk posed by Covid to children. At that point, the ability of the the jab to halt transmission was already well-known.
Even if the culprits now feel inclined to clear their conscience by issuing a dignified 'mea culpa' and apology, the real movers-and-shakers will put them under severe pressure to brazen this out. Why? Because it would amount to a 'Bishop Casey' moment that would unleash a torrent of public vitriol. It would be akin to 'nice, caring people' like Pat Kenny, Fintan O'Toole, Joe Duffy and Luke O'Neill taking a leaf out of Piers Morgan's book by publicly apologising for taking so much on trust and not doing what journalists are supposed to do.
In this particular case, we can expect the culprits to put an emotive twist on this 'unfortunate' death of Joseph McGinty. There will be no mention of the ticking time-bomb that is likely to unleash further tragedies and life-debilitating illnesses down the road. If this inquest is to have any legitimacy, it should call for a no-holds-barred Covid Inquiry while recommending rigorous autopsies (even if on a sampled basis) along with mass-testing to detect quiescent but potentially high-risk cases to effect timely medical interventions and other preventative measures. After all the HSE was quite happy to roll out ridiculously high Ct PCR tests in the summer of 2020 to manufacture a casedemic out of thin air at considerable cost to the tax-payer.
Was this the worst man-made atrocity in history?
